Compatible Ink Cartridge for Canon IP8720

The Canon PIXMA iP8720 printer uses Canon PGI-250XL and Canon CLI-251XL ink cartridges.

How to Install Canon CLI-251XL Ink Cartridge?

• Turn on the printer and open the cartridge access door. wait until the carriage stops moving before you continue. This should take only a few seconds.
• Hold the ink cartridge upside down for 1-2 minutes. Then remove the orange protective cap carefully.

• Match the label color with the color on the carriage. Then install the cartridge into the corresponding slot.
• If the ink LED does not light up, remove the indicated cartridge from the carriage. Gently bend the tab away from the cartridge, and reinsert it into the carriage.

How to Replace Canon CLI-251XL Ink Cartridge(S)?

Here are the steps to replacing a compatible Canon PIXMA iP8720 ink cartridge:

• Lift up the top cover of your Canon printer. Do not force its print head holder to move. Then, choose the cartridge for replacement.

• Push the empty cartridge’s tab and lift it out of its placement. Get your new cartridge and make sure that you’ve removed its packaging and protective film.

• Then, hold and pull upwards the new cartridge’s orange cap. Insert the new cartridge to its corresponding color slot.

• Close the top cover.
