
Set canon printer as the default so that the printer user always uses the same settings. When we’re using applications, then for exiting from the application you’ll need to change settings to the default settings.

Set Canon Printer as the default:
- Open the Printers Folder by following the steps according to the Windows version:
Windows 10 / 8.1:
Press Windows + R and type control printers. Hit the Enter Key.
Windows 8:
Click on the Start Menu option and tap on the search box. Type Settings > Device and Printers.
Windows 7:
Click on the Start menu and type Devices and Printers.
Windows Vista:
Tap on the Start menu and type Control panel in the search box. Open Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Printers.
- If there is more than one printer icon then click on the model icon of your Printer.
- Click on the printer and select the Set as Default Printer.

- When your printer has been set as the default printer, checkmark displays beside the printer icon.
